As a seasoned litigator and certified mediator with a diverse range of legal experience, he has been involved in more than 500 civil rights cases, and his personal trial experiences have led to more than 100 state and federal verdicts and appellate court decisions.

Bob has been active in the Chicago and Cook County communities for many years, serving two terms on the Chicago City Council as 2nd Ward Alderperson where he helped create more than 8,000 jobs.

Enforce the law as written
As State's Attorney, Bob will do what State's Attorney are supposed to do. He will enforce the law. No more coddling violent criminals. As a rule, if Kim Foxx did it, Bob will do the opposite.
Stand up for victims and their families.
Bob will be a champion for the victims of violent criminals. Under Bob's leadership, murderers, rapists, car jackers and robbers will bear the responsibility for their actions by doing hard time.
Return Professionalism to the State's Attorney office.
Bob will welcome back with open arms prosecutors who left the State's Attorney office in protest over the soft on crime policies of Kim Foxx. Their experience and dedication to justice will help return the office to what it should be.
Work with Law Enforcement, not against them.
The police officer on the beat and the prosecutor in the courtroom will know that Bob is an ally. He will have their back. Violent crime cannot be reduced until all aspects of law enforcement work as a team.
Go after corrupt politicians.
It goes without saying that corruption is rampant in Cook County. While the federal government takes the lead on the major cases, this cannot be an excuse to ignore the day-to-day corruption that has passed as business as usual.
ICE and Violent illegal alien criminals.
"Just as the Democratic Party has consistently valued violent criminals over victims, and corrupt politicians over taxpayers, it has placed the needs of illegal immigrants ahead of citizens in historically disenfranchised communities. When I am State's Attorney this will end. I will cooperate with ICE to remove violent illegal alien criminals from our streets and neighborhoods."
